Within 2 hours of UPS delivering 2 of the 4 units we purchased we had a black bear yearling who forced its way though the bottom the screen door onto the enclosed porch. I opened one of the units from its package opened the slider onto the porch initiated your alarm and the bear was clearly frightened and left without hesitation. We purchased the units for trip wires around the top of the dog enclosure I am certainly more confident about this application.

She noticed some suspicious person following her one night while she was walking towards her car in the parking lot. The sound startled the suspicious-looking person and he ran away.

I received my SOUND GRENADE+ from Caltopia and just put it along with my keychain as decoration and it totally save me!!! I got out of Bart at ~11PM and when I was walking towards my car (I was around 100 feet away from my car), two men approached me and ask me for my money and claimed that they have gun. I immediately pull the SOUND GRENADE+and they ran away!!!! I cannot believe it!! I didn't expect to use it when I first got it but now I am definitely going to order one or two more as backup!!! You guys are awesomee! Thanks so much, Becky "I work at a department store and frequently close the store so I'm always walking back to my car during the night (around 11pm or so). During this past Winter, a few teenage boys came in and were harassing myself and a coworker and kept refusing to leave the store. Eventually, security got them to leave right before the store closed. I cautiously ran to my car and started driving away and felt fine. Maybe a mile or so down the road, I realized they were following me but the town I was driving through always has people outside even during the night so I wasn't worried about it. I pulled up to a stop light and one of the boys got out of their car and ran up to my window and started to yell at me and harass me further. Not knowing what else to do because there were cars in front of me so I couldn't just drive off, I pulled my sound grenade and scared the crap out of that kid and he ran back to his car and the light turned green within seconds so I sped off. A bit scary and I don't think anything would have happened as there were other people around as well, but it still came in handy to get him to leave me alone! Who comes up to someone's car like that!?
Another time, I was taking my sister's dog for a walk in my neighborhood and another neighborhood dog was roaming around without a lease. Normally, the neighborhood dog is super sweet and friendly but for some reason came charging at us and was growling at my sister's dog. I tried to yell at it and stomp my feet and swing my legs to scare it away but it was just getting closer and definitely seemed like it was going to attack us. I always carry my sound grenade even if I'm just going on a short walk around the block, so I used it to scare the dog away and it worked. The dog just seemed really confused but didn't like the noise and left. I would have been devastated if my sister's dog got attacked so having the sound grenade with me was seriously a life saver. Thanks! Meredith W." My son is a college student and last night as he was going to his car he noticed a man following him. He noticed when he crossed the street so did the man following him so he pulled his alarm. The man took off running and campus security came over to see what was happening.
RAYLENE - Bend, Oregon I bought this for my daughter who's in her 2nd year at Purdue. Long story short, creep following her in the parking lot after volleyball practice, she pulls the alarm thing, creep runs away.
